The name of this festival is an amusing idea had by a famous painter of the town in which the festival takes place: COSSANO BELBO in the Langhe area.
'IN' doesn't mean a thing in particular but it's a syllable contained in some different words (in dialect) that represent the subject of this festival, food and wine, and these words are i.e. 'tajarin' which are a kind of tagliatelle, 'raviole al plin' which are a kind of little agnolotti, 'mulin' that means mill and symbolises the flour, and some other ones.
The IN Festival is a celebration of dishes and wines typical of the Langhe area and it unfolds along two days, this 2019 the dates are:
18th and 19th of May.
