I guess that when you hear talking about piemontese truffle your thoughts go to the Langhe area, and even to Alba, is it right? But truffle doesn't pertain only to one area in Piedmont, today I'll show you another spot in Piedmont where you can find this 'diamond': Monferrato!

Are you wondering what trifola is? Trifola is the piemontese noun for truffle, and notice that it's a feminine noun, 'Trifola d'or' means 'golden truffle', and this product, that mother nature gifts us, is celebrated in Murisengo during this event.

Suppongo che sentire parlare di tartufo vi fa venire in mente le Langhe ed anche Alba, vero? Ma il tartufo non appartiene solo ad una zona piemontese, oggi vi mostro un altro luogo in cui trovare questo 'diamante' : il Monferrato!
Ci troviamo a Murisengo, una piccola cittadina del Monferrato, tra Casale ed Alessandria, con un bellissimo castello, un anfiteatro, ed una storia millenaria da raccontarvi.
A Murisengo troverete arte, antiche tradizioni e cucina, e... durante questa stagione autunnale un evento speciale: la mostra 'Trifola d'or'.
Vi state chiedendo cos'è la trifola? Trifola è il nome piemontese del tartufo, da notare che è sostantivo femminile, e 'Trifola d'or' significa 'tartufo d'oro', questo prodotto, che madre natura ci regala, è celebrato a Murisengo durante questo evento.
