Here we are in Moncalieri, at the doors of Turin, 15 minutes by car, in the green of the hills.
Casa Argo b&b is part of a housing complex from the second half of '600, it's located in a small valley in Moncalieri's hills, facing south. In the past between '600 and '700 these countryside buildings were called 'vigne' (vigne is an Italian word meaning vineyards) and they were houses for the summer stay.
The property was also owned by the Marquise Giulietta from Barolo born Colbert, who donated it to the Opera Pia, a charitable foundation created by herself. The vigna was used as summer residence for religious people and named Villa Sacro Cuore (meaning Sacred Heart Villa). Today the main body is the owner's home while the long stretch of the long part of the building is destined to b&b activity.

Qui siamo a Moncalieri, alle porte di Torino, 15 minuti in auto, nel verde della collina.
Il b&b Casa Argo fa parte di un complesso abitativo che risale alla seconda metà del '600, è situato in una piccola valletta sulle colline di Moncalieri, rivolta a mezzogiorno. In passato tra '600 e '700 queste case di campagna venivano definite 'vigne' ed erano case di utilizzo estivo. La proprietà fu anche della Marchesa Giulietta di Barolo nata Colbert, la quale la donò all'Opera Pia da lei stessa fondata. Di seguito la vigna verrà utilizzata come casa estiva per religiosi e sarà battezzata Villa Sacro Cuore.
Oggi il corpo principale è divenuto l'abitazione dei proprietari mentre un tratto della manica lunga dell'edificio è dedicato all'attività di b&b.
